Everyone has a story to tell...
As historians, we embrace the opportunity to examine and write the stories
of Australian life, connecting the past to the present. We are committed
to producing histories that are relevant, readable and readily accessible
to a range of audiences.
Principal historian Dr Fay Woodhouse is professionally accredited and
has wide-ranging experience in researching, analysing, interpreting and
presenting historical material. Projects large and small are undertaken
for individuals, communities and corporations.
Fay has now written the commissioned histories of two of Australia's
most iconic wineries. Published in 2010, Vintage Stories: a 150 Year
History of Tahbilk is the fascinating story of Victoria's Tahbilk Vineyard
and Winery, established in Nagambie in 1860. The Story Behind the
Stripe:
a 100 Year history of d'Arenberg will be published in February
2012
to celebrate 100 years of Osborn winemaking in the McLaren Vale,
South Australia. These two celebrated wineries are part of Australia's First
Families
of Wine; together the Purbrick and Osborn families have more
than 250 years
of winemaking experience between them.
